Young Song, MD
Young S. Song, MD, is a radiologist at Imaging Specialists of Charleston, LLC. He joined the practice in 2020.
Prior to Imaging Specialists, Dr. Song was a teleradiologist at Rays/Envision in Dallas, TX. He also was a diagnostic radiologist at South Carolina Radiology, LLC, in Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Carolina Radiology Associates in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Dr. Song completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident. He interned in internal medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
Dr. Song earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in biochemistry and fine arts from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, where he graduated cum laude.
Dr. Song is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
Dr. Song was born in Seoul, South Korea, and has wanted to be a research scientist and doctor since he was a child. He enjoys fishing, Bible study, and spending time with his wife Kendra and their three children, Noah, Levi, and Ava. They have a dog named Frosty and a tortoise named Archie. He is passionate about adoption, helping the needy, volunteering at church activities, and once upon a time, he used to paint.
