Jeffrey Short, MD

Jeffrey Keith Short, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist at Imaging Specialists of Charleston, LLC. He joined the practice in 2008.

Dr. Short completed his interventional radiology fellowship at Emory University. He fulfilled his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Maryland and his internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. 

Dr. Short earned his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and his Bachelor of Arts in English literature at Emory University. 

Dr. Short holds an American Board of Radiology Certification with a certificate of added qualification in interventional radiology, and medical licenses to practice in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.  

Dr. Short is a member of the American Medical Association, the Radiologic Society of North America, the Roentgen Ray Society, and the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. 

Dr. Short is a South Carolina native, born in Columbia (but roots for Clemson!). He loves to travel, and his top destination is Italy. Dr. Short enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa, his two children William and Sam, and their cat, Muki. He is passionate about fighting homelessness and hunger.
